Story

Maggie Adams’s jewellery collection represents the emotional connection to environment we develop as we go about our lives. It’s about the tiny miracles we notice when we get the chance to go slow and look closely. Simple beauty. Little things that hold great meaning to us all in different ways, like collecting precious Pipi, as many a fond New Zealand memory made. Each piece will tell a story of its own, depending on how the wearer relates to it. Jewellery can be frivolous fun, but it can also be another way we express who we are and what we resonate with. My hope is that every person who wears my jewellery will find something in their piece that strengthens their story about what is important to them.

The Story

For me, jewellery is about moments and momentos. I love how a piece can transport you to a particular person, place, or moment in time. That emotional resonance often transforms jewellery into something more than adornment—it becomes a cherished keepsake, even sacred.

Each piece will find its own story— it’s the wearer who brings it to life. My hope is that wearing one of my creations will help you honour what matters most to you, grounding you in meaning as you move through life.

The pieces I create are often shaped by our connection to the natural world and the sense of wonder it illuminates for us when we get the chance to pause, and really absorb our surroundings. Drawing from these moments of awe, my designs take on organic, natural forms, crafted in gold, silver, and bronze.

Aotearoa has been the backdrop for much of my jewellery journey, and I am excited to continue and evolve here in Australia - influenced by it’s beautiful and extreme landscapes and wildlife. Wherever our travels may lead us before eventually returning to our beloved home, I’ll continue to design and create along the way and keep you posted.
